Amber Fair Booker: a lot has changed in 6 months

After a little more than 6 months in business, we decided to check back in with Amber Fair Booker to hear more about how things are going at One Wellness Center, especially as she prepares to graduate from UNCG in December. Amber shared that things are going well and they can continue to grow their services.

As we start a new academic year, new faces come along! This year, we have four graduate assistant students helping us in the EdD in Kinesiology program. Our graduate assistant students are excited to be a part of this journey and are looking forward to giving a helping hand! Ed.D. in KIN 2019 Cohort Proposals

Class of 2019

The 2019 cohort came to campus and presented their dissertation proposals in front of their advisors and colleagues. Between proposals, debriefs and other programming, students visited the Civil Rights Museum and the Greensboro Science Center. There were many great learning opportunities presented as well as some much needed in person time amongst peers and colleagues.

In May 2022, the graduating class of the Doctor of Education in Kinesiology program presented their doctoral research to their peers, Kinesiology faculty members, and others at the Dissertation Showcase.
