Dr. Amanda Aguilar, a graduate from the EdD in KIN program, found her way as a member of the professional organization, National Association for Kinesiology in Higher Education (NAKHE), through Dr. Diane Gill and Dr. Pam Brown. NAKHE is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster leadership in kinesiology administration and policy related to teaching, scholarship and service in higher education. Dr. Aguilar’s work and dedication has brought her recognition and was recently awarded the NAKHE Engaged Scholar award!
