Physical Education and Health Teacher Education with K-12 Licensure, B.S.
Our specialized major in Physical Education and Health Teacher Education (PEHTE), leads to K-12 licensure to teach physical education in North Carolina and many other states. This program prepares future teachers by providing opportunities for observation, participation, assisting, and teaching experiences with public school students, including those with special needs.
The Student Experience
Throughout the program, there are opportunities for active observation, assisting teachers, peer and small group teaching, and a culminating student teaching experience with public school students, including those with special needs.

AFTER GRADUATION
Graduates of approved teacher education curricula are eligible for initial licensure on the basis of UNC Greensboro’s recommendation to the State Department of Public Instruction.
