    I chose UNCG because of the way the program understands the students and accommodates all of our learning styles. The program takes the time out to ensure the best outcome for all students.

    What career path are you interested in?
    Professional Football

    What brought you to UNCG?
    I chose UNCG because I knew it would be the best place for me to cultivate and develop my skills as an Athletic Trainer. Through my time in undergrad at UNCG I knew that the professors had the best interests of the students at heart and this made the decision even easier.

    What is something interesting about you?
    Nothing makes me happier than a good workout or hike

    What brought you to UNCG?
    I chose UNCG for grad school because of all the opportunities that are available, the staff because they are student focused and want us to succeed, and simply because I knew I would like being here more than any other grad school!

    I had spinal fusion surgery when I was 13 for scoliosis

    What brought you to UNCG?
    I attended UNCG for undergrad so coming here for graduate school was a no brainer. UNCG feels like home to me.

    What is something interesting about you?
    I become a dog mom for the first time recently. My pop Carver loves going on adventures with my girlfriend and I including going to breweries and the beach!

    What brought you to UNCG?
    I chose UNCG because I went to undergrad here and I had some of the professors that were apart of the graduate program and I enjoyed learning from them so much! I knew that the program would be a good fit for me with the professors and the way the program is run so I knew I would get a great education

    What is something interesting about you?
    I am a plant mom! I have a passion for plants and have created my own little jungle!

    I was originally a second-year but I chose to defer and come back this year

    I would love to eventually start my own animal rescue

    My college mentor/athletic trainer highly recommended this program. I also was attracted to it because it is an established masters program.

    What brought you to UNCG?
    I went to UNCG for my undergrad degree so I decided to continue for my graduate degree. I know through the previous experiences I’ve had that the department has my best interests in mind.

    What did you take away from your 1st semester of clinicals?
    1) The only way you’re going to learn and be confident doing something is to continuously go out of your comfort zone.
    2) Always be there for your athletes but don’t forget to take time to care for yourself.
    3) I still very much despise baseball.

    What is something interesting about you?
    I’ve been skydiving but bungee jumping lowkey terrifies me

    To have confidence in my skills and how to communicate with athletes and my colleagues

    Always be prepared for any situation to occur, always be on your toes and ready to go, learn and absorb everything that you can

    What is something interesting about you?
    I love hanging out with my family and friends, I was the food truck manager for Carolina Crown and now work on their medical staff! I also love cardio and kickboxing.

    Push yourself beyond uncomfortable. Do the stuff/evals you aren’t comfortable with because that’s the only way to learn. Also, there’s a lot of value in hard work and try to use your rotations as networking opportunities.

    I can sing the ABC’s backwards

    The best/most important part of working with patients is the ability to be personable and take a vested interest in each of your patient’s lives as it relates to their health and well-being.

    I used to bowl competitively as a high schooler and undergraduate

    Being able to adapt to any situation and event was emphasized to me. You got to be on your toes and prepared for any situation, no matter how crazy, stressful, or weird it may be.

    I was a dancer of 15 years that specialized in ballet and contemporary

    What did you take away from your 1st semester of clinicals?
    Athletic training is just as much physical as it is mental. Athletes need more than tape and splints to be their best; sometimes they just need to talk and be encouraged.

    I started my own photography business, ReCaptur3 Photography, in 2017
