Ph.D. in Kinesiology
The Ph.D. degree is a research intensive degree that is designed for those who desire to obtain academic positions at the university level. The student is expected to work on research projects beyond those required in courses and to demonstrate to the department faculty that progress in these endeavors is satisfactory.
- To be eligible for consideration for admittance into the Ph.D. program, applicants must complete a master’s degree from an accredited institution by the enrollment date.
- The Ph.D. in Kinesiology requires a minimum of 60 credit hours.
- Students must complete a minimum of 24 credits in Kinesiology, excluding dissertation hours.
