A.H.A. Says Yes to Collaboration

Some senior students at AHA are enrolled in a year long internship course in which they collaborate with UNCG faculty on a science based research topic. This collaboration not only prepares students for the coming college experience, it also gives them the opportunity to perform an in depth research project on something they’ve been considering to pursue.

The Georgia Athletic Trainers’ Association (GATA) is proud to name Sophia Brown, an athletic trainer at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA), as the Jerry Rhea Athletic Trainer of the Year. The award will be presented at the GATA Honors & Awards Dinner in Macon on January 20 as part of their annual educational conference.
