Study Title: Understanding the effects of exercise on mentally challenging tasks
Eligibility: To participate, you must be between the ages of 65-80, right-handed, and free of any heart, lung or metabolic diseases (e.g. heart disease, asthma/COPD, diabetes). Participation will take place on 3 separate days (spaced about a week apart) and include monitoring of your heart rate at rest and during exercise, moderate intensity exercise and rest on a stationary bike, blood draws and completion of mentally challenging tasks in our lab and in the fMRI scanner.

Study Title: The effects of exercise on memory in older adults
Eligibility: 50-70 years old, regularly active (>=90 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous intensity exercise per week), willing to participate in testing for 3 in-person visits followed by 3 follow-up telephone calls 24 hours later and refrain from exercise during this time

Study Title: The biological effect of different progestins on anterior knee laxity in females
Eligibility: Female, 18-30 years of age, moderately physically active (1.5-10 hours of physical activity per week), use combination oral contraceptive, non-smoker, have at least one healthy knee, have no prior history of knee ligament injury or surgery in either limb, and no history of pregnancy or current plans to become pregnant
