The Department offers two distinct undergraduate degree programs:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Kinesiology
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physical Education and Health Teacher Education (PEHTE)
These comprehensive, hands-on B.S. degrees are designed to prepare professionals to promote and encourage enhanced performance and quality of life for all citizens of the Piedmont Triad and beyond through active lifestyles and lifetime physical activity. Students may pursue careers in multiple health fields and professions. Students applying to graduate school programs in fields such as athletic training, physical therapy, and physician assistant will find the plan of study affords them the prerequisite courses.
